My ideal world is really pretty ideal. Here’s part of the soundtrack.
I have a mix cd in my car titled “Ridiculously Happy Music”. I made it because I have a pessimistic child and I’d like to show that child some other options and I have bad days that need turning around, too. A few songs from this cd can work wonders and lower stress levels for all of us.
I’m not afraid of cheesy or campy things because I just don’t take myself seriously all the time. It’s only saccharine if I let myself think I’m too cool to be really happy… and I’m usually not that cool. If you’re not used to this kind of music, please take it one song at a time.
