Maren. It’s Danish for “old-fashioned girl”, more or less.

This Maren grew up in America’s mid-Atlantic region, went to college in the Intermountain West, moved to the West Coast, resided in Vermont for 9 years, and now lives in Utah. (That’s skipping over a lot, but I’ll spare you the moving details.)

I’m Mormon, married, raise 4 children, hold a BFA in Photography, love Scandinavia, make a mean rose petal jam, enjoy cycling, and I frequently carry a camera.

If you’ve never seen the 90s Canadian comedy show called “Kids in the Hall”, you might not get the reference to “30 Helens”. But sometimes all the Marens get together and agree- right here.
