The following 11-page pdf file was mentioned in this post and is something our church group put together for some basic instruction and inspiration regarding the huge task of spring cleaning. It contains ideas on how to organize the various jobs, plus how to make all kinds of cleaning solutions with natural/basic ingredients like vinegar, lemon juice, baking soda, ammonia, etc. It also contains several laundry soap recipes, because that was a particular request at the time.

My own recipe for laundry soap is here. It’s pretty good, but Charlie’s Soap is even better. Advice on how to get rid of lice is listed below.
